What is NMW? NMW- no moment is wasted. This phrase finds its roots in 1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV), which states: "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." In another translation (TLB), it puts it this way: "...since future victory is sure, be strong and steady, always abounding in the Lord’s work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection." This passage has really resonated with me this year and has challenged me to view life differently. In the immediate context of the passage, Paul had just explained the message of the gospel (the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus) to those in the church of Corinth and encouraged the church with the hope of the future return of Jesus and the resurrection that is to come.
